The next league meeting is Thursday 24th June at The St James Club at 8pm, all teams wishing to enter the Summer league are requested to have a representative attend this meeting. All trophies are now due to be returned, please ensure these are returned as soon as possible.

The fixtures for the division 1 and 2 knockout cup semi finals on Wednesday 9th June are as follows: St James A v Pike and Eel at The Workers The Workers v Long Buckby at The Wheatsheaf Weedon White Horse Norton v Bowls Club at The Wheatsheaf Braunston Plume of Feathers v Dun Cow at The Con Club.

Will all teams who won trophies last year please return to Ray Jones or Dave Hewitt as soon as possible. Any teams wishing to participate in the summer league must have a representative attend the next meeting at The St James Club on the 24th June at 8pm.

The third Daventry Invitational competition was won by Burtie with runner up Bully. Many thanks to The St James Club and all players who attended.


23rd March 2010

The next invitational competition will be held at The St james Club on Sunday the 4th April. Anyone wishing to enter please sign on at the St James Club or alternatively turn up on the day. Entry fee will be £1. Proceedings will begin at 12.00 and the draw will be made at 12.15. Prize money will depend on the number of entries received.

The second half season league fees of £10.00 per team are now due.

Will all players be reminded, you must be at your venue for the singles knockoput competition by 7.45 pm.

Entries for The Charity Cup are to be submitted by the 25th March, late entries will not be entered. Some teams have expressed a desire to enter two teams, this has been accepted provisionally but may be reviewed if too many teams are entered. Will all teams please note the new format ie: team game first, then doubles and singles last.

Entries for the singles and doubles competitions have to be submitted by Wednesday the 4th March, late entries will not be accepted.


15th November 2009

The Winter League 2009/10 fixtures are now available, with the first matches taking place this Wednesday, 18th November.

Apologies for the delay in posting the fixture lists, unfortunately we had a team withdraw and another team enter just after we´d created the lists!

The AGM for the forthcoming Winter League will be held at The St James Club on the 28th October at 8pm. All teams wishing to enter must have a representative attend this meeting.

The Dennis Myton memorial competition will be held at The Workers on the 7th November 2009. Proceedings will begin at 12.00 midday

The St James Invitational Tournament was won by ´Burtie´ with Runner Up ´Wadey´. Semi finalists Matt Edgar and ´Bully´. Many thanks to all who participated.

There will be a Invitational competition at the St James Club on Saturday the 29th August. Limited mto 50 entrants, cost £1.00 to enter, to register please ask for the sheet at the bar of St James. Prize fund of £150.00

All team entries for the Summer 2009 league to be provided by the end of June.

Could anybody wanting to submit a team for the Summer League please do so by June 30th, as we are hoping to start the summer league mid-July.  There will be a one-off £10 registration fee for the summer league, rather than the previous £5 per game fee and this fee should be paid when submitting team entries.

The finals of the Singles and Doubles events are to be held on Wednesday 1st July at the Daventry Working Mens Club.

Open event at Long Buckby FC this Saturday has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Unfortunately there have been very few players show an interest in the event that was to be held this coming Saturday, so we have been left with no choice but to cancel the event.

Open singles event to be held at Long Buckby Football Club on Saturday 16th May with £50 added to the prize fund.

This is a singles event open to both men and women, details are:

As soon as registration closes at 12:00 (strict) we will begin the draw for the competition and expect play to begin at 12:30.
