Northamptonshire, England. Here you will find information about the League we have had running for many years.

Membership of the league was previously at its peak back in the 1980's when the sport was regularly featured on TV. In more recent years it has continued but struggled
to attract as many teams, understandable with the decline in TV coverage on UK terrestrial Television. However, with the sport having increased in popularity again over recent years
the league has expanded to include 18 teams in 2008/09 and will hopefully include even more teams in the future.
We currently have 2 seasons each year - Winter and Summer. The Winter season is the
main one where we not only have league games but have several
cup competitions as well as our singles, ladies singles, doubles and mixed pairs competitions. We also hold our annual Presentation Night after the winter league has finished.
We are always looking for new players, so if you live within 8 miles of Daventry and would like to join a team please visit one of the pubs/clubs that have
teams in our league or use the Contact Us page of this website and we will try to find a team for you.
